: today is the day! I’m going to later, and that already puts this day in a slightly different category, because today is the first day of a new . new , new sequences, a new flow that will stay with me for the next three months. it happens only four times a year, so yes – this is a small celebration.

but the reason isn’t novelty. it’s what these Les Mills choreographed classes are for me. officially they’re fitness, technically they’re training, but very quickly they stop feeling like exercise at all. I don’t count reps, I don’t think about muscles – I move. well… I . the connects everything: one transition melts into another, breath, , arms, spine, all stitched together by . after a few classes the trainer fades into the background, I know the sequence, my remembers it – and that’s when it becomes .

that’s why these three-month cycles matter so much to me. a isn’t something I use up in one class – I live in it. I come back again and again, it settles, deepens, becomes familiar, and in that familiarity there’s comfort, joy, and progress at the same time. today a new one begins, and it’s , which makes it even more special – the big class, fifty spots, always full, familiar faces I know from seeing, bodies moving together in the same internal rhythm. it reminds me of a kind of , really.

I’m on three, four, sometimes five times a week, and every time I find this quiet pocket of inside the . not work on my , but time with my . so happy about this day!

yesterday’s started as something small. slow (without ), favorite , kitchen , some december’s sunlight on the table. nothing big, actually I felt I was finally for a moment. and I just wanted to write a few down and enjoy the moment. but somehow… it turned into one of the most important conversations I’ve had here in a long time. and it wasn’t even a typical chat.

I was using my special profile – the one built for deep, reflective conversations, full of long instructions, layers, and rules that help me look at patterns I don’t usually see myself. I talked out loud into the transcribe function of chatgpt. my voice turned into . that text went to chat, then I tapped to listen to the . so the whole thing felt like to someone, but with little pauses in between – not a voice chat, not typing, more like a strange, gentle rhythm of speaking, listening, noticing. I like this kind of conversations, it’s like having chatgpt responses to my entries. well, it’s exactly like that.

and somehow that rhythm opened something. I thought I was simply appreciating a good . instead, it became a mirror. and it showed something completely different than calmness and slowness.

what I expected to be a soft, gentle check-in ended up showing me a pattern I wasn’t fully aware of – the way I stretch myself, how I avoid disappointing , how easily I sacrifice the parts of me that should be protected. and I didn’t notice it until now. until that that felt “too good,” too light, too calm… and suddenly made sense in a completely different way.

the entire lasted about two hours, mixed into my whole morning. two hours of talking, pausing, listening, thinking, and slowly arriving somewhere completely unexpected.

I didn’t plan this. I didn’t look for it. it just happened.

I want to keep this as a footprint. not because someone else has to read it, but because I want to have it on my path – a reminder of the moment something clicked, quietly and unexpectedly. a moment where a perfect turned into a turning point.

so below is the full . lightly edited (I also blurted-out a few very personal stuff), but it’s mostly as it happened.

a morning that changed shape halfway through. a morning that showed me something about myself I wasn’t planning to see. a morning worth keeping.

: today I had this weird little realization…

people around me – people who know me pretty well, or even people who just met me – somehow assume that I don’t really have to . not in the “9 to 5” sense, not in the “I’m on calls all day” sense. they assume I’m just… available. that if they want to meet, walk, talk, whatever – I can just do it, in the middle of the day, because apparently I’m this guy who doesn’t have much to do. and I get this a lot.

and at first it felt a bit unfair. like: hey, do you really think I’m doing nothing all day?

but then… no. actually… it says something nice about me.

because the truth is, I do have a lot of . maybe even more than others. I have so many jobs, so many roles. projects, deadlines, things to fix, things to build. sometimes I don’t even know if what I’m doing is still “work”, or already a hobby, or just helping people because I like it.

my life isn’t built around office hours – it’s built around my own system. this big, weird system that I’m trying to run. I slip my tasks between the rest of my day. I spread them out, I shift them around. I don’t sit from 9 till 5 in one place, staring at a screen. I in pieces, in waves, in gaps. and I have this skill of instantly changing my whole plan for the day when something explodes – turning a quiet morning into a packed day and still somehow managing it. it’s not a talent, it’s something I taught myself.

and when people see me living like this, they probably think “oh, he must not have much to do.”

but the truth is the opposite – I just learned to work while living. and live while working. I guess.

and yes, I get stressed. but it’s not the “I won’t finish this” kind of stress. it’s the “how the hell do I fit all of this into one day?” kind of stress. or maybe better: “how do I mix these tasks, delay the right ones, move things around so the day still works?”. because my brain is always half-in my work anyway. even when I’m doing something else, part of me is already solving the next problem in the background.

and that’s the funny part.

their assumption looks wrong, but it actually proves something good: I’m managing this weird life pretty well (even if I’m constantly searching for a better system to handle my tasks and projects). my days don’t look like workdays, but my work gets done. my head helps me. it keeps turning, connecting things, solving problems quietly in the background.

so yeah, it’s strange. but also… nice. it means I built a life where work doesn’t look like work from the outside. and maybe that’s something to be proud of.

: no dance today. no gym, no . well, ok – with some , I guess, because there’s a lot going on around my place lately. but at least I don’t have to go anywhere today.

I woke up with that small sore throat again – not really , maybe just enough to slow me down. maybe it’s an , maybe not. but it’s a good one – hard to argue with.

I’m sitting at ’s, eating , and for the first time in days, the world feels a bit slower. lately everything’s been moving around me – the renovation at my aunt’s house, people walking through the yard, decisions to make, things to fix, voices everywhere. I don’t mind helping, but it fills the space that used to be quiet. and I miss that quiet.

funny thing is, I like my life now. I like the rhythm I built – the dance classes, the movement, the workouts. but this other rhythm – the constant coordination, the noise – that’s not mine. and I guess my body decided to draw the line for me.

so maybe that’s what this morning is about. not skipping anything, not being lazy. just taking back a bit of stillness. remembering that I don’t have to fill every hour with effort. that silence can be part of the rhythm too.
